Introducing Re:Birth. A movement to rebirth business in order to change the world around us (humanity/land/water/ air). We believe that transformation within our cities and the business communities that exist within them can actually change the world.
It is our vision to see cities across the Central Coast region live in the following ethos on some (and hopefully all) of these levels:
Compassionate Cities
Care for the poor, those in poverty and in low-income situations. Not resorting to mere hand-outs, but creating sustainable solutions for addressing poverty, hunger and houselessness in your city.
Responsible Cities
Care for the environment, the people and even the cultures in your city. Holding ourselves responsible for our actions in how we treat the earth, our surroundings and each other.
Generous Cities
Care for those who do not have, not out of simply meeting wants, but meeting needs. Whether it be personal, financial, spiritual or emotional, it is about putting practices in place to encourage generosity from the city halls down to the corner alleys.
Fair Trade Cities
Care for the products sold and purchased in our cities, whether it be the lettuce that passed through the farmers hands or the shirt that met the seamstress's fingers. We are about encouraging individuals, businesses and organizations to remember that we carry the stories of those who might have touched our products before us.
How It Works
Destination:Central Coast offers advertising incentives of 20% discounts for all businesses and partners (those with Business Profiles) who decide to join the Re:Birth Business Network.
