In September of 2005, four young people from America traveled to Russia to encounter its children. Not just any children, however. These are the faces of the forgotten ones. These are their photos & this is their story.
We in the West might call them orphans. For us on this trip, it was believing through our faith that we have all been adopted as sons and daughters of heaven with no room to be left as orphans. For the four of them on this journey, they fell in love and these children became theirs and they called them their own. World Through Their Eyes:Russia is a book of photographs, all taken by the Russian children using small, plastic cameras that were given to them.
This book is a partnership with a couple indigenous groups who are on the ground in the Ryazan region of Russia and a whole fifty-percent of the proceeds of this book go into directly helping the Russian children.
